About Auburn

Auburn, "Home of the Classic", is a city in DeKalb County. Auburn was also the home of The Auburn Automobile Company, the Cord Car Company, and the Auburn Rubber Company. The city is also known as one of the best places to live in Indiana, and is the perfect place to buy a home.

History of Auburn

The city was founded in 1836 by Wesley Park. In 1903 The Auburn Automobile Company produced its first vehicle, and eventually the company grew into the Cord Car Company. Other car companies soon followed, this led to Auburn becoming "Home of The Classic" in the automotive industry.
